I ran into KOTC HW Champ and new UFC sensation Tim Hague while I was at the National Boxing event going on at the Edmonton Event Centre.

It was really cool, he stopped and made time for me and everything. It's really nice to see big time guys like this making time for the public. Keep up the great work Tim, I look forward to watching you succeed. You're a humble guy, please stay that way as you rise.

Hey thanks a bunch Jase, I was actually going to make a thread right before I read this. It was good to see you and Marcus. My thread was actually going to be giving you props on how conditioned Marcus was looking. I know you have been working with him a lot.

Should be a great fight between Hicks and Mahood on trooper.

We've been working really hard. Both of our fitness levels are much higher than normal lately, bi-product of trying to move down a weightclass, I was originally scheduled to fight a 155 fight vs. Kucher. Not sure what happened but it got changed to Tim Thurston... a really tough match up so I've been working hard.

Marcus has been pushing a heavy pace lately too. He's kinda been known for being the guy that "fights off his couch" as he puts it. It's getting scary to even spar with the guy anymore; good for me in the sense that Thurston can throw what ever he wants and I've had twice that from Hicks. Bad in the sense that I'm gonna need to start collecting AISH cheques after another sparring sessions with him.

We're both getting really excited for these fights.
