<span style='color:red'>Saturday, April 8th, Konocti Vista Casino presents Gladiator Challenge: FACE OFF. Gladiator Challenge is Simply the best in Mixed Martial Arts and is making its return to the beautiful Konocti Vista Casino Resort and Marina in Lakeport, CA. This fight card features 15 no holds barred cage fights, including four exciting main event bouts.
In the main event, Gladiator Challenge Bantamweight World Champion Tyson Griffen fights the always entertaining Krazy Horse. NorCal Fighting Alliance's Tyson Griffen is undefeated in mixed martial arts, and makes his second title defense, this time in his own back yard. Krazy Horse, a four-time veteran of Pride in Japan, has shown that he has the tools to knock out anyone in the world. This will be an unforgettable battle between champion and challenger, technician and brawler.
Also defending his title is Gladiator Challenge Welter-weight World Champion James 'the Educator' Fanshier, facing Konrade Miles, of Barstowe, California. Fanshier, fighting out of Team X in Sacramento, is making his fourth title defense. A wrestling coach and superb kick-boxer, Fanshier's grappling and striking skills have made him the man to beat at 170 pounds. Miles, a tough wrestler with an explosive right hand, is undefeated in mixed martial arts.
Also featured on the main event is Kyle Williams against Ceasar Moreno. Williams, a Gladiator Challenge match-maker, was a standout wrestler in high school, and trains out of the WCG fight camp. Moreno, a six-time veteran of Gladiator Challenge, is a kung-fu practitioner and freestyle fighter. He challenged Williams several months ago. The challenge is met, the match is on, promoter vs fighter. Don't miss this bad-blood grudge match.
One final title bout highlights this action-packed fight card: Jaime 'El Cucui' Jara, the Gladiator Challenge Middleweight World Champion, makes his first title defense against Millenia Jujitsu's John Cole. Jara, training out of Team X in Sacramento, has won Gladiator Challenge titles in 3 different weight classes - Heavyweight, Light Heavyweight, and now Middleweight. For this achievement, he was awarded the 2005 Gladiator Challenge Fighter of the Year Award, presented by Tyson 'the Iron Man' Johnson. Jara won his World Middleweight belt in November of last year against top contender Dustin 'the Rooster' Arden at Eagle Mountain Casino in Porterville, California. Cole, a five time King of the Cage veteran, was a college wrestler in Ohio before moving to California to expand his fight game. Now training in southern California with Gladiator Challenge Lightweight World Champion Mac Danzig, Cole makes his Gladiator Challenge debut after a year away from the cage spent honing his skills. Cole intends to make Jara's first Middleweight title defense his last, but Jara looks forward to even more accomplishments. With his motto 'Fight like a wounded dawg', 'El Cucui' won't give up the belt without a fight.
Don't miss the best fight card of the year, packed with bone-crunching match-ups. Gates open at 11am and fights start at 1pm, Saturday, April 8th. Tickets sell fast, so call Konocti Vista Casino Resort and Marina at (707)262-1900!
