Don't want to keep you guys up too late.

Everyone is anticipating seeing our new cage for the first time at the Vernon show. It will be a ten sided 30' cage, which will add about 40% more surface area, it's a monster!!

Just two hours ago, I decided to buy two at the same time, one going to Hull!! We still have the old one for a back-up just in case but I'm quite confident the new one will be there in time for the March fight. That's kick ass, huh?

It looks almost identical to a round one except is has straight sides. I think it's a little more solid frame than round and gives the same appearence. It will also have a catwalk around it which our old one never had.

No, KOTC in the states is using a rectangle with round corners. It's a smaller cage and for me, I just didn't like the design.

I think its gonna kick ass!!!! As long as both opponents come ready to fight, theres lots of room for some intense rolling.

Hey Tim, you can scoop the round one from throwdown, it will be very similar to that.

This one should not have any dark corners. Also, it will have two doors. I'm thinking of having a red door and a blue door.

the catwalk outside is that going to be like the original ufc cage where the girls walk outside the cage? will the corners be able to be on the catwalk?

No, they will sit behind it. They will be allowed to stand on it between rounds.

Actually, they will be right by the cage door so they can go inside between rounds. With two doors, we should be able to have both corner men enter.

Thats even better. With the addition outside the cage will it effect the seating much ? ie: less floor seating? and are you going to keep one walkway for fighter or will they be entering from complete opposite ends?

Fighters will still come down the same walkway, but I'm thinking of turning the cage so one door is on each side, giving them separate cage doors.
