Tyson dont you hold the GC belt at 145? Can you even defend the belt at 155 for a rematch. The rematch should be for the belt right? The only way I see a rematch at 155 would be if you vacated the belt right?

Tyson Griffin

If i was a 145lb fighter i would love to fight him at that weight again. However i compete at 155lbs and made the cut for the opportunity that was presented to me. It was a hard cut and he didnt make it any easier, but ill leave out the details. I have only weighed in at 145 once in my fight career. The belt isnt the issue as far as Im concerned. I thought this was about me being his only loss right? If feels he's the better fighter Im sure he wont care about the belt either.

What about a catch weight of 150 ? I understand were you are coming from since you beat him, but sometimes you gotta make concessions like you did the first time you fought. Look at De La Hoya and Mosley for their rematch. Shane beat him the 1st time and wanted half of the payday, but there was no way he brought that to the table, so he had to concede to a smaller purse. He is the KOTC and WEC champ now and more folks have heard of him. If you beat him again, there would be no doubt, and your star would rise. Staying at 155 makes it look like you dont want the rematch, just an observation. All the best.

Tyson so are you saying that you gave up the 145 belt since you are not competting in that division any longer, hey bro give the belt back if thats the case, as far as I am concerned you aint the 145 champ...go after the 155 belt...

Why are all you guests talking to Tyson Griffin about a remach with Uriah Faber? Let Uriah do his own talking if he has any talking to do. If you saw the first fight Uriah fought well until he caught the uppercut at the end of the first round, thats when Tyson started to OWN him. No the cut from Uriah's uncontrolled takedown wasn't why he lost. Face it they are both great fighters but everyone loses at some point in this type of fighting (for whatever the reason may be).

Let me clarify for those of you who dont seem to understand plain english.

Tyson went down to 145 and beat urijah just to show that he could. He does not care about that weight anymore and urijah's KO provided the springboard that it was intended to for Tysons career. Thank you mr. faber that is all we need from you. You are excused.

If mr. faber is interested in a rematch he would need to be the one who "step's up".

T, hows the weather?

NCFA just because Faber isnt coming on a forum calling out Griffin like an amateur doesnt mean he doesnt want to fight him. I have read many articles that Faber has agreed to come up to 155 for the rematch (although we know he doesnt want to). Faber and Griffin are two tough MF's and it will be a war. Fabers interviews say his 3 fight KOTC contract is Valencia , Griffin in June, and another PPV. Any truth to this?

I love your articles Crazy Mike, but you need to update them more often. Keep up the good work. I know Urijah is on a mission to collect as many belts as possible. Tyson holds the belt at 145 so fight at 145. Why does GC have a guy running around with a 145 belt that has publicly stated he will never drop to 145 again? makes no sense. Faber has accepted the rematch to be at 155 and it should be a battle.

Tyson - TeamXrepresent is not a representative of team X. He is entitled to his own opinions as a fan. Yet I still, appreciate the support for our team and the local guys. This quote is not representative of the team. Griffen Faber I was the most awesome fights I have ever sean. I have much respect for Griffen, Terell and all the guys at N.Cal. As well have Grande' respect for Uirah.

See you in a few weeks.

TG,
Time to put Crazy Horse down cause hes foaming at the mouth, you know I'll be there! Urijah can have another assbeating if he wants to step up. You both can brawl, its just that you can brawl better!
All you talkers need to shut up, or grow up and be real fighters and not some sorry pathetic whinning wannabes. Politics run the games so bitch, whine, and moan to the head shed, not the highly respected, awesome ass fighters putting their necks on the line so you can get your dicks hard wishing you were them in the cage.

fanshier, cantrell, no worries. over here at NCFA we couldnt give a shit less about the forum flappers. we train and we fight. those are the only statements needed. urijah and tyson will meet again when the time comes.

I dont beleive that things between our camps (NCFA & CCFA) have degenerated to the point of actual bad blood. talk is cheep, lets keep it at a minimum

100 % not Bo . He is not the kinda guy to run his mouth about anyone fighter or fan, regardless of situation. Plus uriah and Bo have trained a lot together and are decent friends.

Tyson needs to get through chuck kim on next saturday first. Ill take kim in this fight for he seems to be on top of his game. Taking nothing away from the champ, just never have seen kim so determined. I know alot will disagree, but I believe the belt will be in bakersfield come next saturday along with a nice WWEECC title in may to go beside the new grapplers quest belt I brought back form vegas this weekend.

I think Kim will take this one also. Kim is a veteran, unless Tyson can knock him out its over in 1

I predict that Kim will add Tyson to the list of impressive fighters that he has lost to. Best of luck to both fighters.

Tyson is an animal, I think he is here to stay for a long time, excellent shape, strong grappler, strong puncher. well rounded. Isn't he fighting Crazy Horse first? I think we should all take one fight at a time..Did I miss something?? Good luck to Both fighters...whether he is fighting Crazy Horse or Kim

I second that. Not taking away from Kim, but Tyson is on a mission. Plus I like having the belts in Nor Cal.

Tyson Griffin is one of gladiator challenge's most marketable fighters. He will beat Chuck Kim and will continue to be one of the most talked about gladiator challenge fighters at this time. I think he is an exciting fighter, and the only thing I would like to see different from him is fighting more ofter. Good luck in all of your fights Tyson.

I was just trying to let people know that Tyson has a fight a head of him before he rematches faber. Kim aint no joke and most of all is on top of his game. Age, experience, conditioning and the will to win a title IMO will push kim to win. Chuck has trained me off and on for the past three years so I do have affiliation with him and wish the best of health to both fighters.

I have never and will never bag on anyone for supporting a teamate or friend, just keep in mind there is a respectful way in doing so...

Mainly my first post was directed at the no training ASSCLOWNS talking shit about Tyson and the UF rematch..get over it people..IF it happens it happens..If UF won that fight would he have given Tyson a rematch right away?Maybe!Tyson has not ducked UF he has simply taken the opportunities thrown at him and run with them..When the time is right they will square up again and this time will be different..It will be a much faster win for Tyson

I have to say people sure gave Chuck Kim a lot of praise before the fight with Tyson. Why? He didn't look that impressive to me. He looked like he had some good wrestling but besides that, what else? I think Tyson needs better people to fight. He is not going to get that in Gladiator Challenge. Or Gladiator Challenge just isn't giving them to him. I want to see him go for the 155 belt. I think it would be his if he got, or took the chance.

tyson kicked california kids ass and the kid worked out in the dressing room for a hard 50 to 60 mins before the fight i was there i saw it. he made sure he got his daily workout no matter what happened in the fight. now he beat chuck kim who has great abliaty and is very fit and very strong. so tyson is very deserving to be where he is at http://www.keepersofthecage.com/forums/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/wink.gif

This rematch is way to big for GC and will probably go down as a KOTC fight or WEC. To say Urijah splitting his head open didn't affect that fight tells me you have never had your head split open. Urijah told me his head was ringing like crazy when they checked the cut yet he still fought for another 12 mins. I'm not one of you guys that jumped on Tysons nuts after he won that fight. He showed no respect to Urijah who is nothing but a class act in and out of the cage, I cant wait for this rematch. Tyson you better bring a bat for this one because Urijah is going to give you a Capitol City ass whoppin.

Promoters what the hell are you waiting for these two need to fight. Hopefully in the WEC their shows are bar none the next best thing to the UFC.

WEC?

Why would WEC want to use GC or KOTC fighters? Don't they have any good fighters?

If you say Tyson is a good kid I'll take your word for it, but as far as showing the Cali Kid respect after he so called "knocked him out" it wasn't there.

why would the WEC want these fighters?
Why are you even on the forum?
Urijah Faber and Tyson Griffen are two of the best pound for pound fighters in our are area if not the United States you obviously don't know shit about cage fights.

I know Urijah and I'm done talking about this rematch cause I don't need to talk for him. I didn't mean to disrespect Tyson and don't think I did, I just want to see this fight again, and when it goes down Tyson should show the class and respect you say he has.
