Nothing against Hinkle I think he has been dominating in his matches and deserving of a title shot.

However I think Fanshier vs Hinkle should be the match for the shot at belt. Hats off to Metcalf he was one tough SOB but I would still view as The Educator Ranked ahead of Hinkle. Either way these 2 need to fight because it would be a great match and seems to be brewing for sometime.

Either way Hinkle vs Metcalf would also be a great fight. And I think James will be back holding that title. Give that man some respect for defending the title as long as he did. And also being gracious in defeat and giving Metcalf respect. That was in my opinion the best fight of the night!!

Fanshier should get a rematch Metcalf was tough but you should have to do more then he did to take the belt. http://www.keepersofthecage.com/forums/style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/mad.gif The crowd certainly thought Fanshier won. Metcalf landed a few solid shots but Fanshier landed some as well. So I think a rematch should be in order.

hinkle is a great fighter and i believe the fight between him and metcalf would be a good one. keep in mind hinkle has the talent to finish his fights as well as his opponents. not to take anything away from metcalf he did what he had to do to win.congratulations to metcalf on winning the title look forward to seeing more of the champion eric metcalf in the future to come

I dont know what fight you guys were watching met clearly kicked finklesteins a$$.
He controlled the entire fight, heelstomps, knees to the thighs & 4 takedowns to finkle's 1. The champ has to put on a better show than that to keep it. Taking nothing away from Metcalf's win, I would have liked to see 5 rounds instead of three because Fanshier won the last round. Nevertheless it was a great fight.

Team Voo Doo now, for a short time holds the belt, things are refreshed and new, for the time being. Metcalf is a tough kid, and he brought enough to the cage at the Memorial to get the win and the belt. But, let the record show James Fanshier has huge shoes to fill. As Champ he was professional, gracious, dedicated, positive and consistent. He'll get what belongs to him back when he is ready.

I agree, Metcalf is a gracious fighter. I have seen his comments to Fanshier and I know that he is excited about his win and new title, as well he should be. Hell, otherwise why step into the cage, right. They plan to do it again. It would have been something to see had the original plan of 5-5's been allowed. I hate fights that go to the judges. Metcalf has a chin, Fanshier landed a kick that made Metcalf's head snap back like a pez. Metcalf threw some clean overhand rights too. It's hard when it's two "good guys" facing each other. I mean when it's not a "good guy" vs. a "bad guy" how do you pick a favorite. It's like, hurry up and get it overwith. I always close my eyes, turn my head, cross my fingers, legs, and whatever else I can cross, grab the closest hunka man sittin next to me and dig my nails in, and hope for the best. Hinkle and I are coming out of our trailers putting down our old english 40 ouncers. Turning of the hooked on fonix and looking for some belts cause were to poor to afford the fancy ones from wal mart. So show us somthing cause were not impressed with the shit talking or are matches, not regarding our performance. hay ...i just got a call...unfortunetly something happen beond our control and eric wray will not be fighting on march 31... not at liberty to say what happened yet as soon as we can we will let u all know...

but the good news is.. hinkle can not fight metcalf....he is really excited.. so look out should be a good good fight...hope to see everyone there....
